On the evening of 18 September, 2015, the House Association of Stanley Ho East Asia College (SHEAC) invited you to step in to the open courtyard within Residential College Island One of the University of Macau – a place where talented student artists and enthused students hosted a Charity Show cum Bazaar.
The proceeds from sales will be donated to local schools and social service organizations in the destinations of SHEAC’s service-learning trips to be held in the summer 2016. The fund is intended to use in areas that improve the learning environment of children in Mainland remote areas. The HA-organized event preluded a stunning night on time at eight o’clock. A student band and musicians from SHEAC and other sister colleges performed for the event. Throughout the bazaar, delicate souvenirs and delicious snacks prepared by SHEAC students were sold for charity. The programme included band shows, solo and group singing, and piano performances, interweaved with bingo games. Audience were led to a brilliant and joyful evening.
The event was concluded successfully at 10pm. A total of MOP 8,260.1 was raised, from the sales of souvenirs, home-baked cookies and bingo tickets, as well as mooncakes generously donated by Sociedade de Jogos de Macau SA (SJM) Holdings Limited and Melco Crown Entertainment (COD).
